Regarded by numerous as the most influential artist of our time, the late David Bowie has made a long lasting impact in today’s music, fashion, and cultural industries. Now, Vans is wishing to channel this with a brand new collaboration that builds on four of their many renowned sneaker silhouettes.
Comprising of the Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, Era, and Slip-On 47 V DX, the first two pay homage to Bowie’s alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, utilising the signature lightning bolt motifs. The Era, on the other hand, is influenced by Space Oddity, featuring an all-over print reminiscent of the album’s cover. Finally, the Slip-On 47 V DX is an ode to Hunky Dory, painting the shoe in a dynamic yellow shade and mixing it up with a checkerboard synthetic fur.
Set to drop on April 5th through the Vans web store, let us know which sneaker you’ll be grabbing from the David Bowie x Vans collection!
