The Union LA x Jordan brand 2020 footwear Collection gets officially unveiled

just when you thought you’ve seen it all, Chris Gibbs goes on and unveils the full Union LA x Jordan brand 2020 footwear Collection, and it’s absolute madness. A follow up to 2018’s Air Jordan 1 collaboration which continues to sell for thousands even two years later, the Los Angeles label’s most current endeavour is sure to live up to this success.

Comprising of four sneakers across three silhouettes, the highlight of the pack has got to be the Air Jordan 4 in both “Off Noir” and “Guava Ice” colourways. Previewed earlier this month, lots of sneakerheads were not sure about the low-cut tongue, but it turn out that these were only early images and the piece can actually flip out to reveal a full tongue completely with Jumpman co-branding.

“Back in the day, I had always liked to wear my Air Jordan 4s with a short tongue, so I would fold them over themselves and tie them down.” describes Gibbs. “We made a decision to fold the tongue over and stitch it down with the same stitch pattern that we used on the Air Jordan 1s. The good news here is that the stitch can be easily removed to reveal a normal tongue size if that’s your preference. another fun detail is that with the tongue folded over the original “AIR JORDAN” interior branding now becomes external.”

The range will also feature two other Jordan models including the Delta Mid and the Zoom 92 that are famous in their own right. The former is a mid-top version of the Delta SP that debuted earlier this year, while the latter combines elements of the Air force 5, the Air Jordan 7, and the Air Max 180 for a hybrid aesthetic that’s unlike anything else out there.

Set to launch on August 29th, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole vendor if you want the Union LA x Nike Jordan brand 2020 footwear Collection in your life. It’s worth noting that the AJ4 “Guava Ice” will be exclusive to Union stores, so make sure you hit up your plug sooner rather than later. let us know which pair you’re feeling the most, and in related news, it looks like a supreme x Air Jordan 1 “Stars” could be in the works!
