Nike is continuing its 30th anniversary celebrations of the Air Jordan 4 by giving the iconic basketball sneaker a full Flyknit makeover! marking the silhouette’s third ever revamp, the special edition AJ4 is set to arrive in four distinct colourways, and here’s what we know so far!
Building on the iconic silhouette that was designed by Tinker Hatfield back in 1989, the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit features a contemporary Flyknit construction laid atop an interior shell. Doing away with any seams or overlays, the engineered yarn pattern give the shoe its distinctive shape, which will launch in red, orange, blue, and yellow colour palettes. To round it all off, a Jumpman logo graces the tongue and heels in a complementary rubber material and a visible Air unit completes the design.
Now, if you’re planning to cop any of the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit colourways, you’ve got to listen up for the next part. Reportedly, each of the four monochromatic offerings will release regionally, just like the Yeezy boost 350 V2 ‘Special Release’, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole vendor for more news as it develops! Let us know if you’ll be grabbing a pair, and be sure to take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
